A recent gathering in Madrid welcomed faith communities, cultural voices and social actors to reflect on the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The meeting included a representative of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, and human rights educator news eu parlament Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how mutual knowledge can reduce prejudice.
During the event, participants explored themes such as tolerance, social cohesion and the prevention of discrimination. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s focus on human dignity and social betterment. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, emphasised that cultural and religious diversity contributes to democratic life when supported by education and dialogue.
